What happened

On the evening of April 5, 2014, around 22:55, some residents of Pariana reported a circular object of intense electric blue color, about five meters above the ground, fast and rotating counterclockwise. The report, collected by the carabinieri, was checked by the Italian Air Force, which could not link it to known flight activity or radiosondes and lists it among the OVNI reports of 2014. The case is a typical example of the Air Force's archive: the entry attests the report and the outcome of the checks, not the nature of the phenomenon, and the Air Force specifies that it does not assess the existence of extraterrestrial life.
