Claim · G-002

David Grusch: Maintains that the origin of these objects is “exotic,” that is, attributable to non-human intelligence, extraterrestrial or of unknown origin, and that it is not a matter of prosaic explanations.

Hearsay Nature of the non-humans

Disputed

It falls between “disputed” and “unverifiable”: “disputed” prevails because explicit official AARO conclusions are set against the supporting testimonies.

In support
Karl Nell maintains that some technologies derive from non-human intelligence; according to The Debrief (June 5, 2023), the officer presented under the name “Jonathan Grey,” used within the agency, states that the phenomenon of non-human intelligence is real. These are testimonial claims.
Against or denials
The AARO Historical Report vol. 1 (2024) states that, to date, AARO has found no empirical evidence that any UAP sighting represented extraterrestrial technology; "Grey" himself specified that most of the exotic materials recovered have a prosaic terrestrial explanation. NASIC, through spokesperson Michelle Martz (Dayton Daily News, June 12, 2023), said it had no record of an employee named "Jonathan Grey"; Blumenthal (The Debrief) replied that he had confirmed that a person with that identity works there. Neither position is documented.
