AATIP and AAWSAP
What it denies and what it leaves open
It acknowledges that Elizondo had a leadership role in AATIP, without addressing the merits of his theses on UAP. It is a position that the Pentagon would revise in 2019.
- Who disputes it
- Since 2019 the Pentagon itself has stated that Elizondo had no assigned responsibilities in AATIP; Garry Reid's internal memorandum of late December 2017 points in the same direction.
