Locations: says he knows the exact locations, then says the material was moved
Weight: Minor or formal
- First version
- Jul 26, 2023 · Under oath he claims to know the exact locations and to have communicated them to the Inspector General and the intelligence committees. Official transcript of the July 26, 2023 hearing in the House of Representatives (GovInfo, CHRG-118hhrg53022)
- Second version
- May 5, 2026 · Claims that, after his testimony to the Senate in late 2022, part of the physical materials was moved. Stranger than Fiction, summary of the interview on Judicial Watch's “On Watch” (May 5, 2026)
- Analysis
- It is an evolution rather than a contradiction: the locations communicated may be those known at the time of the complaint. If, however, the move took place after the end of 2022, the “exact” locations indicated in July 2023 may no longer have been current, and it is unclear when Grusch learned of it. The 2026 claim also makes any on-site verification harder. The 2026 source is a partisan summary of the interview.
