Roswell funeral director; reported an alien autopsy
1989–2015 · Historical figures (1933–2007) · Witness
A funeral director in Roswell (1925–2015), interviewed by Stanton Friedman on August 5, 1989, he recounted that the base had called him asking for small or hermetically sealed coffins and that a nurse had described to him the autopsy of an alien. Described as the key witness of the case, he later admitted to having given a false name for the nurse, and Carey and Schmitt wrote that as a witness he had to be considered discredited; the 1997 USAF report (Case Closed) examined his account. In 1991 he founded the Roswell UFO museum with Walter Haut.
