Intelligence Community Inspector General (2020-2025)
2022–2024 · Government and the White House · Official
Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG), acting from April 2020 and confirmed in September 2021, he resigned effective January 3, 2025. During his term the office judged Grusch's complaint (July 2022) credible and urgent, a procedural threshold that entails its transmission to Congress and not a confirmation on the merits. On January 12, 2024, he gave members of the House Oversight Committee a closed briefing of about 90 minutes, described by participants in opposite ways.
