Claim · E-025

Luis Elizondo: Calls the first volume of AARO's historical report intentionally dishonest, inaccurate and dangerously misleading and says he knows of extensive classified evidence that contradicts it; at the hearing of November 13, 2024, he adds that AARO, under its previous leadership, failed.

Luis Elizondo · Mar 2024 · Public reaction to the first volume of AARO's historical report (March 2024) (Article)

Opinion or hypothesis Funding, secrecy, Congress

Unverifiable

The classified evidence he invokes is not public, and the judgment of the report is an assessment.

In support
Others have criticized the report: Christopher Mellon (many witnesses did not trust AARO and did not speak to it) and The Debrief, which listed factual errors in Volume 1; Volume 2, announced for late 2025, does not appear to have been published in the sources consulted.
Against or denials
AARO states that it examined all official investigations since 1945 and conducted dozens of interviews and site visits, finding no empirical evidence of extraterrestrial technology or of programs hidden from Congress.
