In December 1984 he received from an anonymous sender a roll of photographic film with the “Eisenhower Briefing Document,” dated November 18, 1952, and the “Truman–Forrestal memo” of September 24, 1947, whose signature appears forged. In 1985, after anonymous tips, he found with Bill Moore at the National Archives the “Cutler/Twining memo” and worked with Moore and Friedman on a documentary for KPIX-TV. The FBI and AFOSI judged the MJ-12 documents false.
