Tom DeLonge
Musician (Blink-182); founder and president of To The Stars Academy
2015– · To The Stars Academy · Entrepreneur
Co-founder of Blink-182, in March 2017 he founded the To The Stars Academy of Arts and Science (TTSA) with Jim Semivan and Hal Puthoff, of which he was president and CEO and to which companies of his lent money and granted licenses. Elizondo joined it a few days after leaving the Pentagon, and the company produced the series “Unidentified” for History Channel. In 2015-2016 emails to John Podesta, published by WikiLeaks, he proposed introducing him to people he described as former heads of sensitive Defense divisions.
- Key claims
- In 2015-2016 emails he described two people he wanted Podesta to meet as top figures of divisions linked to classified science and Defense.
- Controversies
- TTSA's SEC filings show loans from companies he controlled and a license agreement with minimum royalties of $100,000 a year; in 2018 the company reported an accumulated deficit of $37.4 million, a report that DeLonge called false.
- TTSA's “anomalous” material, tested by the Army under a 2019 agreement, turned out to be a commercial-type alloy with no military applications.
- Today
- According to an aggregator, in September 2026 the ODNI also thanked To The Stars for its advice to the intelligence UAP committee.
