Part of AAWSAP or not?
Weight: Substantial
- First version
- Jul 2018 · At the 2018 MUFON conference, according to The Black Vault, he claims not to have been part of AAWSAP. The Black Vault – DoD emails on the 2017 UAP briefings and on Elizondo's role in AATIP, May 28, 2025
- Second version
- Nov 13, 2024 · Under oath he says he joined the program “originally called AAWSAP” early on, around 2009; in the book Imminent he recounts having been recruited by James Lacatski in early 2009 for counterintelligence and security. Transcript of the hearing “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth”, House of Representatives, November 13, 2024
- Analysis
- An innocent explanation is that in 2018 he meant that he had not been among the staff of the AAWSAP contract, managed for the DIA by Bigelow's company, while collaborating from the OUSD(I) as a security officer: the DoD admits that he briefly supported the DIA office until early 2010, and the book Skinwalkers at the Pentagon places him at a dinner with the program's staff. The DoD denies, however, that he was ever assigned to the DIA, and the shift from denying having been part of it to saying that he joined early on remains a significant change of version for assessing his role.
