The official objectives of the DIA's AAWSAP program (July 18, 2008)
Statement of Objectives for the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program
Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) – Acquisition Support Division (DWO-3) · Jul 18, 2008 · USA · Contract
Original available
Official file from the sixth PURSUE series; full text read on the transcript in the uapbrowser index (4 pages), in which none of “AATIP,” “UFO,” “unidentified” or “anomalous” appears. Direct download from war.gov blocked (error 403).
- What it contains
- A 4-page solicitation document: the stated objective is to understand the physics and engineering of “disruptive” aerospace applications relevant to the foreign threat up to 2050. It lists 12 areas of study: lift, propulsion, control, power generation, spatial/temporal translation, materials, configuration and structure, signature reduction, human interface, effects on humans, radio-frequency and directed-energy weapons, ancillary areas. It provides for a fixed-price contract of up to five years and reports for each area.
- What it shows and what it does not
- It proves that the official name and subject of the program put out for bid in 2008 were AAWSAP and the study of future aerospace threats: the text does not name AATIP and does not mention UFOs. It is useful for the entries on the AAWSAP/AATIP confusion (E-011, E-048, I-E-04, I-E-06, S-033). It says nothing about a program called AATIP or about Elizondo's role. Omega Click's summary is misleading: spatial/temporal translation is one of the 12 areas and the document does not talk about UFOs.
- How it came to light
- Published by the Department of War in the sixth PURSUE series (September 18, 2026, file DOW-UAP-D110). Omega Click presented it in the video of September 21, 2026 as a “$22 million contract to study the time translation of UFOs.”
