Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection – Hearing, Serial No. 119-44

House of Representatives – Oversight Committee, Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets · Sep 9, 2025 · USA · Transcript

Original available

Text read on GovInfo (official version printed by the GPO, Serial No. 119-44); the transcript records “[Witnesses sworn.]”.

What it contains
Transcript of the hearing chaired by Anna Paulina Luna with witnesses Jeffrey Nuccetelli, Alexandro Wiggins, George Knapp, Dylan Borland and, for the minority, Joe Spielberger of the Project on Government Oversight. Borland says he was exposed to classified information from the “UAP legacy crash retrieval program.” Among the documents in the record is a letter from Rep. Eli Crane to the Department of Defense (July 24, 2025) on alleged retaliation against Grusch: revocation of his clearance, denied promotion and loss of medical retirement.
What it shows and what it does not
It documents new sworn claims that take up the “legacy program” framework, with no supporting documents presented at the hearing. Crane's letter gives his description of the retaliation, not a finding: in the transcript Crane says he is still awaiting a reply from the DoD.
How it came to light
